Ruger has no legal warranty, either, IIRC.

Not a gun per se, but Caspian frames and slides are often used to build guns and have the following warranties (with a few restrictions for gross misuse):
Frames: Lifetime for steel.
All Caspian Steel Receivers are "GUARANTEED FOR LIFE".
http://www.caspianarms.com/Receivers_Cast.html
Slides: Lifetime for .45 and .40, 2 years for 9mm/.38 Super (due to abuse by IPSC folks :) )
http://www.caspianarms.com/Main_Slides.html
I'd suggest that an "implied warranty" is no warranty at all. People confuse vauge "promises to do right" with legal warranties, or specific written guarantees about their product, all the time. They aren't the same thing.

The Ruger website states:
Your firearm was not shipped with a warranty card because:
The Magnuson-Moss Act (Public Law 93-637) does not require any seller or manufacturer of a consumer product to give a written warranty. It does provide that if a written warranty is given, it must be designated as “limited” or as “full” and sets minimum standards for a “full” warranty. Sturm, Ruger & Co., Inc. has elected not to provide any written warranty, either “limited” or “full,” rather than to attempt to comply with the provisions of the Magnuson-Moss Act and the regulations issued thereunder. There are certain implied warranties under state law with respect to sales of consumer goods. As the extent and interpretation of these implied warranties vary from state to state you should refer to your state statutes. Sturm, Ruger & Co., Inc. wishes to assure its customers of its continued interest in providing service to owners of Ruger firearms.
Remington has a 2 year warranty:
Remington warrants to you, the original purchaser of a new firearm, that for two years from the date of purchase in the United States or Canada, your Remington firearm will be free from defects in material and workmanship.
Smith & Wesson says:
We will repair any defect in material or workmanship without charge to the original purchaser for as long as you own the handgun.
My Mossberg has a 10 year one
MOSSBERG WARRANTY
500®, 590® and 835® MODEL SHOTGUNS
TEN (10) YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
Limited Warranty: O.F. Mossberg & Sons, Inc. (“Mossberg”) warrants to you, the original retail purchaser of a new Mossberg® 500®, 590® or 835® Shotgun (the “Mossberg firearm”), that the Mossberg firearm will be free of defects in material or manufacture for a period of ten (10) years from the date of your purchase of the new Mossberg firearm (the “Warranty Period”) in the United States or Canada. This is the only express warranty on the Mossberg firearm. MOSSBERG MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND OR CONDITIONS, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary from State to State.

H&K has a life-time warranty for the first owner (at least in the US they do, some other countries it's only 6 months)
Sig Sauer has no warranty but they say to ship the gun to them and they'll see what they can do about it.
I think Steyr has a 1 year warranty but I'm not sure, been a while since I looked at one of their warranty cards.

Even though Ruger does not have a written warranty, one need not worry about them standing behind or servicing their products.

Charter 2000’s site didn’t have anything about a warranty on their site so I e-mailed the Pres. He responded that Charter 2000 firearms have a “lifetime warranty”. When I asked for more details on the “lifetime warranty” he didn’t respond again.
Davidson’s “gallery of guns” has a lifetime warranty on all the firearms it sells regardless of the manufacturer.

Maybe, but there is an objective difference between a legal written warranty, and a vague statement that they'll "do right" that has no legal force whatsoever.

Maybe, but I'd rather have a firm that wanted to do right by me than a legal written warranty that's a page of tightly worded lawyerese which provides no legal force at all.
Those lifetime warranties mean less than you think, and a lot of it will depend on the good will of the company.

Keltec will honor the warranty without question as to the original owner.
New guns by S&W, Colt, and Kahr have lifetime to original owner.
Phoenix (small .22 pistol) states original owner lifetime in the manual, but they rebuilt a used gun for me, free of charge.
Ruger will send parts without question.
I had a 15 year old Mini 14 of untold rounds that I bought used.
The trigger assy. started falling out during firing when using certain mags.
Called Ruger, shipped the barrel/upper to them and got a new trigger assy. installed, free of charge.
NAA is lifetime on the gun, IIRC, not the original owner.
Walter P22 is one year to original owner. (You'll need it. :uhoh: )

STI =No warranty
STI = Free parts, express shipped, to update a Ranger, bought USED.
Of course, YMMV.
For my part, they've earned a customer for life.
