I've been carrying a Kershaw Blackout for a little over a year now & have been really happy with...but...I'm wondering now if I can improve on it. Something as easy to open w/ a nicer blade & a handle not made of plastic and CA legal....suggestions???

Kershaw Blur - handled one of these yesterday, and they simply rock.
As easy to open as the BlackOut, with a better (more positively engaging) thumb-stud design, a comfortable handle (anodized aluminum, red or black, with grip inserts) and a really really nice blade shape, drop point with a subtle re-curve and a nice grind.
Wonderful knife, just loved it. I see one in my future.

The Blur, huh? Do you know where they can be found & at a good price? Is it made in the USA?

www.newgraham.com has them for $54 + shipping. Good price.
I am not sure if it is made in the US or not, Kershaw is a US owned company I believe, but they use factories overseas (Japan) I think, not sure if thats only where they have knives produced or not.
Benchmade also makes a good knife that is US made, but they are more expensive and dont have an assisted opening system yet. Their Red Line is overseas mfg. but the other lines are US made.
