Hi,
I'm trying to decide between Hogue Pau Farro grips OR Badger Walnut, for my last generation Detective Special. I can't find a picture of either grips installed to help make up my mind....any one got a picture?
Thanks guys...Zombie.

I'm not trying to be a smart-alec with this picture, but since you had no replies, I figured this might be close enough. And you have to admit, the Hogue grip is ON the Detective Special...

I think that alot of folks overlook the Houge wood grips for COLT 3rd gen D Frames. I have a set on my Cobra and they work great for slipping it in my jacket pocket.

YO !! I just happen to have a Houge catalog right here!! Go onto their website: getgrip.com an amazing web. You can look at all of the grips they make, "on" the pistol your wanting to grip. I did this before I bought the mono-grip for my 629 S&W, nice grips too. I bought the "Tulipwood w/o grooves", man they do a beautiful job on them.:what: You will be happy, I can almost guarantee it ! Good luck.

Thanks buddy,
1K posted these pictures for me (what a swell dude). Well as you can see I ordered some pau ferro finger groove grips from Hogue, then I got a pair of pewter pins from eBay.
I drilled small holes for the pin studs to go through then put masking tape on the grip and traced around the skulls. I got out the OL rotary tool and dug out the wood to inlay the skulls, finished off with some Gorilla Glue on the backs of the pins, and used rubber bands around the grips till dry/hard. Not profesinal but a fun project, isn't that what it's all about...plus it gives it the backup Zombie Killer look:what:.
Thanks for all the help...yer pal, Zombie.
