That is an impressive group of .45s! Wow. When you want to talk big bore, you've got something to talk about. :D

I've looked at the mod 25 for a long time. Just never took the leap...yet.

I really like your wood grips. Who made them if you don't mind me asking? That's a nice stable of revolvers you got going there Sir.

Ahrends: http://ahrendsgripsusa.com/

These are the retro combat style.

The 4" has the polyurethane finish, the 6" has the oil finish. i like the oil better.

Congrats. The 25-7 is on my want list.
Nice colection of revolvers in my favorite revolver caliber.

I detail stripped it this morning. New Wolff main spring and rebound spring. I had a set of walnut Ahrends grips on another N frame, couldn't help myself.

I almost hate to tell people how good the 25-7 is, in the event that I want to snag another one. Pre-lock, popular and rare five inch barrel, nice worksmanship, and one of the first to come out with the advanced machining methods that made it more accurate than many decades of Model 25's made earlier. Throw in the then-new matte finish bluing. A modern classic. Enjoy!
