Hoping this is the right forum for my question....

I've just spent over an hour searching for a holster to fit my 629 (Mountain Gun) 4" barrel with an UltraDot red dot scope, with no satisfaction seemingly to be found. It's just kind of a fun experiment and I'm gonna shoot it regardless, but it would be better yet if I could get a shoulder-type holster, no real preference as far as material goes. Anyone with experience with such a critter? Specifically to fit the 4" barrel.

Anyone who can comment on the gun/sight combination either, pro or con? These old eyes....

I would find a local holstermaker.

In my area, Austin, there is an outstanding fellow, Cotton, (http://www.tex45.com/) who can custom build whatever you need.

There will surely be someone in your area that can make what you want.

Off the rack is probably not going to happen.

A Bianchi Hush system is what I use for my 7 1/2" scoped Redhawk .
