Hello,
I am currently a happy, active member of THR and I want to thank everyone who manages it, as you are doing a great job.

I do have a suggestion that could make threads more interesting.
If you put a "like" button for each individual comment on a thread, and even for the original post.

For example:

If someone says something important, or a unique piece of information in a comment, or even something funny, users could "like" that individual comment.
Facebook has something similar, and its just a fun way to see who likes whose thoughts/ideas.

These "likes" can help people determine which threads are being enjoyed the most, and even who has lots of knowledge, or a sense of humor.

This is just a suggestion, disreguard this idea if there is some sort of technical or other issue.

Personally, I think we're doing fine without such a feature. I find it pretty easy to determine which threads are being enjoyed here by simply looking at the post count, and the content of those posts. If the overall tone is good, and nobody is bickering, it's a good thread.

Likewise, you can tell who has lots of info to offer or a good sense of humor by simply reading people's posts.

It's been my experience that on FB, people can simply come by and "like" a status without really adding anything substantive - I'd hate for that to happen to THR.

An admin or someone familiar with vB will have to answer whether that's even possible or not.
