I just wanted to thank Hondo 60. He helped me find some SP101 Staghorn Grip Inserts.

I really like the control offered by the rubber grips but the screw head sticking out cut my hand the the plastic inserts were nasty.
I saw Hondo 60's wood grip inserts and I PM'd him asking where he bought them.
He directed me to a site where I found someone who sells all kinds of inserts for the SP101.

Very nice. Any more info available on those grips? I have a 3" myself (SP101 that is) and the only thing I dislike about it are the plastic inserts.

You're very welcome. I think the bean counters selected those boring plastic inserts. It sure as heck wasn't a real SP101 owner/user.

I've put stag inserts on both my SP101 & GP100, they look good against the black rubber grip and grip well with the textured bark. Now I just need a set for the Super Redhawk to make a matching trio.
