Me?

Endura in VG-10
Griptilian in 154CM or whatever it is that it's called
Both of my Case mini-trappers

And, oddly enough, my brand new Buck Vantage. We will see if it stands the test of time, but my initial day of carrying it has been extraordinarily impressive. I bought the cheaper model just to see if I liked it, and I will be ordering the S30V model forthwith. I really, really like that knife a lot though I have to temper my opinion since it has only been a day. Plus, I don't think anything will ever take down the Endura as my all time favorite knife unless it happens to be another Spyderco.

Anyway, I have about 15 or so other knives, of which I occasionally carry one or two, but those first three knives I listed are basically always in the rotation simply because I like them so much. I have actually just stashed one of my case knives at work (the regular trapper) so I never have to worry about it, and the other (2007 Wharncliffe Trapper) I have started treating as something of a "BBQ Knife". It will be getting shipped off to this guy on Bladeforums that is a sharpening deity. This guy can slice standing toilet paper cleanly, and by Odin, I want to own a knife that sharp.

Being a city boy my favorite knives are all folders. I have a few that I value highly -- a Spyderco Military, a CRK Sebenza, and a Microtech LCC. But if I had to name a favorite it would probably be this one.

Harvey king custom knives. Well I had 4 but now only three. My buddy used the black ash handled knife and placed it on the bumper of his truck so he would remember to give it back to me. Well it now lives along side the road somewhere. Anyway best knives I have ever owned.

About in this order:

Spyderco Native S30V
Shane Justice Soldier's Knife (made especially for me)
HI WWII 16.5" Kuk
John Greco coffin-handled bowie
HI 19" Crow bowie

Pic (http://www.flickr.com/photos/46538089@N00/4390283244/)

L to r: Crow, WWII, Greco, Justice, Spyderco

This is also a fairly complete battery, with a folder, all-purpose/combat fixed blade, large outdoor knife/fighter, dedicated fighter, and large fighter/outdoor knife.

If I could only have one knife, it would be my Justice, since it's big and sturdy enough to handle practically anything in a pinch, but small enough to even conceal, if I had to. If I had two knives, my Native and any of the other knives except my Greco would work great.

Right now my favorites are the ones I am making, but my EDC is a $13 truckstop special that has ridden on my hip for about 7 years now. Not fancy or expensive, but easy to sharpen and has always done what I have asked of it...

1. Benchmade Griptilian - Great feeling in the hand, perfect for EDC, but still quick to open and close, nice looks and steel
2. Benchmade Mini-Griptilian - Same as the Griptilian, just not as much to love
3. Al Mar Eagle Ultralight - Excellent EDC, Scary sharp, great for cutting food, but not really a hard use knife, I like it for picnics
4. Case Barehead Slimline Trapper CV - Nice gentleman's knife, good for the office setting
5. CRKT M16 Zytel - Great for when I know I'm going to abuse the knife, I bought a couple of them off A. G. Russell for a little less than $25 a piece, and they are my go-to knives when I know I'll be trying to do something stupid like use it as a pry bar or cut bailing wire.

^That guy isn't joking about vorpal blades.

My fav is my blue scale FFG endura. I also like my plain gen 4 endura too, and really like my 2 HI kuks. For practical purposes and just sheer brick house sturdiness my 1.5lb 12" Ang khola is neat. For a fighter the 19" chitlangi can also do nice utility work. But I'm not afraid to beat up the ang...the chit is scratched but I don't care. But I do still take a little bit better care of it since it's fragile and would take less to screw up.

2) Spyderco 'Dodo' PE

My current favorites that I use a lot include: Vic Adventurer (SAK), Spyderco Endura VG-10, SOG Mini-Vulcan, Camillus made Remington Bullet knife (Trapper Pattern), SOG Twitch XL, and SOG Seal Pup Elite- Plain Edge.

I do like the Spyderco Native that others have mentioned, but seldom carry it.

I have lots of knives and tend to gravitate to these for daily use.

Case Amber bone Trapper with the Spey blade removed.

I carried a Case Trapper for years until the clip blade wore down to almost nothing from repeated sharpening. The Trapper and a Zippo lighter were the two things I hid away when the Army made me send all my personal stuff home from basic training in 1969.

Just curious why the Spey blade was removed?

Thanks.

I had it removed to make it thinner because I carry it in my back pocket next to my wallet.
I also carry a Case Amber bone canoe and I am looking for a Case stockman in Amber bone with a spear point blade instead of a spey blade.

I also like a Cattaragus 717 trapper with just a clip blade, a Schrade 194 and a case yellow handle single blade trapper.

What, Nobody likes Buck knives ?

I bought a large Buck Vantage a couple of weeks ago and I really, really like it. I don't think it will replace the Endura as my all time favorite knife, but I have to admit that first impressions are very positive.

We will see though. I like it and have carried it non-stop for a couple of weeks, but lets see what I think of it a year from now. The Endura I currently own is close to 4 years old now, and it still locks up and works like a new knife. Better, in fact, now that the parts have worn in. I think and hope that the Buck will be similarly great.

If youre looking for a MKII, skip the current version. Its NOT your granddaddy's MKII, and by a long shot.

Balance is all wrong, blade is thick, not at all sharp and lacks the "wasp waist", and has those stupid serrations. No "cat tongue" grip either.

All in all, the new ones are a totally different and inferior knife.

All time favorite- Spyderco Delica with steel handle followed by the becker necker.

Honorable mentions- Buck Vantage Avid, Spyderco Centofante 3, Case Trapper in Amberbone, and Buck 110.

Currently testing a Kershaw Skyline. It is slim, light, has decent steel, a G 10 handle, carries tip up, and has a fairly useful flipper for ease of opening. It is a nice edc knife, but I still prefer the Delica at this point.

My EDC for work is a S&W S.O.R.T. with a 2" half serrated blade. Very handy little knife that sees a lot of use every day and still holds a pretty decent edge. At home it's an older Schrade SP2 Lightweight Lockback. It's almost too light as I have to frequently check my pocket to make sure it's still there.

Some of my favorites include a Randall No. 1 (6" blade with black micarta handle), Morseth Boot Knife, Al Mar Tanto, Gerber Mk.1 (vintage late 1970's), and a Marbles Ideal Hunting Knife that belonged to my Dad (vintage mid 1950's).
