here is my aresenal sgl20 / sgl21 with wood furniture. i really liked the all black look but she really shines with this red ak74 wood set. i just had to sand the tang of the stock a little to get it to fit. feels much better in hand too (better quality). anyway, i thought id post these pics because you dont see the sgl's in wood too often. the wood set came with a brown plastic pistol grip but i just left the black one on.

You sure don't see too many Arsenal's with wood furniture. I Really like the look it shines. Congrats!

Excellent upgrade! I think wood furniture just looks so much better on an AK.

Looks great! Did you buy the furniture like that? Or did you finish it?

Not sure if I would consider it an upgrade. But it does look good. :D

well, i felt like it was an upgrade because the plastic handguard felt loose and would heat up pretty fast. i will say however that the wood seems a tad heavier. i do like the look of it even though it looks a tad off since AK 103s dont have wood. and when i put my optic and light on it, it would look better w/ the all tactical black look.

I hope you kept 922r in mind.

Arsenal uses US-made furniture for compliance.

Absolutely gorgeous. And of course, there has to be at least one 922r ranger that chimes in without invitation.

Nice retrofit ... are those stocks from Ironwood Designs?

Stupid law that it is, it's still the law.

no the stock is not from ironwood. it is a refinished ak74 set i got on gunbroker. so i guess i did ignore the 922r law. i still have the plastic furniture i can put it back in, but i just had to see how it looked in the wood set. or maybe i will just put american mags in it or something.....

That's a really attractive stock set. There are a number of US made wood stock sets available for compliance.

Trigger 3 parts. Brake 1 part. Pistol grip and gas piston 2 parts. AK has 16 so you are GTG! I'm SURE all those parts are US!:D 922r sux lol.

Edit: Hey look! That follower in the mag is US made too! WOW! Under 10 parts. Man, I have some GREAT x-ray vision I tell you what!:neener:
