No jiggle versus jiggle? Usually I'm a fan of a little jiggle... but anyone have a pic of both types?

My A series has jiggle. HKS are ok but Safariland takes the cake.

I use Comp II or Comp III speedloaders; there's no manual button or knob!

Anyone know the difference?

Waywatcher, any good/cheap place to get safariland stuff?

Anyone know the difference?

I wrote reviews of both the HKS and Safariland speedloaders. I compare them to each other in the reviews.

HKS Speedloader for quicker revolver reloads (http://www0.epinions.com/review/A_Series_Speedloader_38_357/content_450990542468)

Safariland speedloader: Great for experts (http://www0.epinions.com/review/Safariland_Speedloader_For_Small_Revolvers/content_450994933380)

Thanks Trebor; good writeups. However I was asking whether anyone knew the difference between the HKS type "A" and the HKS type "M".

There is no differance in appearance or operation, except for the jiggle necessary to work with some guns in some calibers.

The link you posted shows both types side by side in the big photo.

The one with nine .22 RF in it is a Type M 22 HR (jiggle).
The other one with six .38 Spl is a Type A 10A (non-jiggle).

You can order the Safarilands direct from the manufacturer. I did this after not finding them locally.

Thanks RC. I didn't notice that some calibers were A and some were M.

Sorry. Misunderstood the question.

I wasn't even aware there was a "M" series HKS loader.

Yeah, I wasn't either. I have a bunch of the A type for my .38s and was curious about the difference. Good thing RC has a better grasp on the obvious than I do. :D
