CZ75 for every day carry

First I want to say this is a great place to read and learn about guns! Also I have a holster from HBE - first class!! Very well made and great fit/comfort.
I carry every day and travel all over the world - usually in some rotten areas. My first love is a 1911. But new rules don't allow SA autos (I know - yes most administrators have no clue!!).
I carry a CZ75 and/or Kahr K9. I shoot both well but love the CZ. Can also carry the issued Sig 228 but don't like the ergonomics. After reading all the posts over the last year or so I almost get paranoid that my slide stop is going to break or a trigger pin etc. I have more than 5,000 rounds with only one or two malfunctions. So what I want to know from you all is:
All of you who love the CZ75 - would you carry one (every day, all the time) to truly protect your bacon? In the heat, cold, under jackets, etc?
Am I overly paranoid about breakage (yes I know other guns break - in fact I recently had a "phase 3 malfunction" with my Glock 19 - not fun)?
I can conceal any gun (used to carry a SW 596) so if I trust it I will carry it!
I shoot a lot and love the feel/action of the CZ... that said I can shoot a Kahr K9 about as well but there is something about the CZ..... maybe I am "possessed" by the feel/action and fact that it reminds me of the 1911 I carried for years.
I welcome your comments... and also wish everyone a happy holiday season.
God Bless our wonderful nation!
Regards

Hello. If I could not carry a Hi Power or a 1911, the CZ-75 would be my choice.
Here are my reasons why:

Best.

Anything made by man will break. You might want to change the springs since you've got 5000 rounds through it already.
If it's any reassurance I know a couple of guys that work in very high risk occupations that have chosen CZ75s above anything else available to them.

For what it's worth my PCR, a little brother of the CZ 75b, accompanies me most places I go.I have complete faith in it. I also carry in a HBE, mine is a Pro IWB. Great holsters aren't they? Especially for the price.

I have many thousands of rounds through my CZ75 also. I`ve had no breakages or problems of any kind and like you I find that the gun just suits me. I shoot it well under any conditions. I carry it often and trust it absolutely. As noted about NOTHING made my man is without fault but the CZ75 is pretty close. Marcus

I work for a government agency. Up until now I could carry any handgun. I worked a lot in Europe so carried a 9mm.
I work for DoD by the way.
I see a lot of posts about the CZ and I am wondering this... How many would (or do) carry every day (or would) a CZ-75 for a primary CCW.
I carry every day and travel all over the world - usually in some rotten areas.

I'll have to agree. The Cz75 and it's offspring are rock-solid performers.
I do not carry my 75s any longer, due to the fact that the smaller and
lighter P-01 is around. The older guns suffer from a lack of spare parts,
while if you shoot a B model and DO break a slide stop, there are plenty of them for 75Bs.
Again,
Unlike a Glock or 1911 where small springs/parts might break..the only real
"Soft Spot" on a CZ is the slide stop. Every gun has one and we must live with them. I feel that there are very few reported cases with Slide Stop
breakages for it to be a non-issue. In most cases that i know of thru
CZ-USA and CZF. They have been in .40s or other guns with hot loads
and shooting at a competitive level of thousands upon thousands.
Punish any part long enough and it will fail.
Shooters in other parts of the world like Germany, S. Africa and even
Philipinnes never mention such breakages. Alot of those people are
still shooting 75s at the 100K mark!
Feel well armed with a robust and reliable firearm, because you Are!

Hey guys..........:D
You all know how Im gonna answer this one dont you?
I do trust me CZ with my life every day...all day. I think you are not being paranoid or mistrusting of your gun to voice concerns on a thread...just gathering information. Thats cool.......reinforcing a questionable situation with good data from others is a good way to go about it.
Id relax and carry your gun ............simple.
BTW...I carry my CZ in an HBE Holster also :D  Thanks for the great and kind words guys.....................Merry Xmas
Shoot well.

Yes (although I, too, would suggest you periodically change the springs).

Welcome, gunguy
If you are a member of the SpecOps community or are otherwise abroad and out in harm's way, I would strongly suggest you take your question(s) to Teddy Jacobsen, www.actionsbyt.com.
Sure, Teddy is a bit opinionated, but he seriously knows what he's talking about, has the credentials to prove it, and will give you the straight story on the CZ, Kahr or any other pistol you might elect to carry. If you decide to carry the CZ, Teddy can tell you what can potentially go wrong and where to apply the preventive maintenance.
I have found his knowledge eye opening and would trust my life to it.
