I was looking at getting a set for a Glock 17 I'm about to pick up. I was wondering how well they work, does anyone have any experience with them? I was thinking they may help you get a faster sight picture for close shots, plus give me an exuse to buy guns/gun related stuff:D. Thanks in advance for any comments.

Ghost rings are a larger version of a peep rear.

But I thought Glocks were perfection, why would you need to change perfection?
I kid, I kid.

I traded guns with someone at our indoor range that had something like that. Custom here, is if you want to shoot someones gun, you offer yours to shoot wit a full mag of course. That way you get to sample all kinds of weird stuff.

It was fast to reaquire a sight pic after recoil. But stunk at longer ranges. So it's really quick at ranges where you don't need your sights, and kinda stinks at ranges where you do need your sights. Just like the XS Bigdots I had.

The Warren Tactical Sevigny Comp set is as good as your going to find for Glocks. I use an even thinner .110 Dawson FO front sight on my G23.
