Before I post this in for sale area do you think a model 13 3" (mine) would be a fair trade for a model 28 4". I'm in the market for a 28 but I haven't seen a decent one around here in years. I'd rather trade as this "gun hobby" has put me in the poorhouse..

I would love to have another 13 3" but I do not have the Green$ or the 28 to swap you. It sounds like a good swap to me so I'll agree with Dr SPig

Also what dash is the 13?

It's a 13-3, no P&C, only wear is on slight on ejector rod. It's RB which may be the way 13 - 3" was configed.

The N-frame market has really heated up these days. M28s for some reason are being priced close to M27s, maybe due to availability. You may find an offer, but I wouldn't hold my breath waiting on it. But hey, It won't be the first time I put my foot in my mouth.

Personally, with all things (condition, usage, etc.) being equal, I would consider a Model 13 to be a little less valuable than a Model 28. Now as relative conditions change, this could drive the balance one way or the other.

But, if both parties are agreeable it might be a worthwhile trade.
