well guys I have been contemplating on getting one of this since it came out last year or so, but decided to wait it out and hopefully all the bugs are fixed so today I upgraded my 351PD to this Sig 238!. I liked the 351pd but I am a 1911 kinda guy , SA and thumb safety works for me so here it is..I already tried it and so far so good,had a couple of stove pipes that is due to me not holding it properly, I was kinda shooting in the rain so no time to do groupings. I just wanted to try it..

I owned the same exact model and dang do i miss it :(
I went from 5 ccw guns too 1 as i felt i found the perfect one, Well i did but i forgot one gun cant do it all.
I want my P238 back so i can throw it in my back pocket when i need to run to the gas station late at night for something stupid and i dont want to holster up.

BTW the "perfect" gun i picked was a full sized 1911, But ive since supplemented it with an XD SC .40 for hot summer IWB carry.

So yeh 3 guns is about right.

BTW any issue i found with mine was the mag needed adjusted on the follower and feed lips so the rounds would point directly into the chamber. So if you have issues at all look there first.
Then call sig for new mag and springs.

Hopefully you wont need it as mine was completely reliable after 50 rounds and those adjustments.

Hope it works well for you. Mine's never had any issues, but it's still disappointing to hear how many of them have been lemons. I wish SIG would have slowed down with all the "flavors" they made and just concentrated on one model that works.

Maybe thay throw in the nicer case with the cutout when you buy a two-tone. My gun is all black.
