Glock ejector housing question

Just noticed that my G26 has what it looks like a bent ejector. When compared to my G27...this piece is completely straight on the G27...but there is a slight bend on my G26 (which is brand new).

My question is.... is this normal for a G26. The part in question is the part with the stamped number 336. The pointed end of that metal piece is slightly bent. It is not affecting the operation of the weapon...I can rack the slide fine. But I have yet to test fire this brand new gun.

Thanks for you help.

Yes it is normal.

One is a .40 S&W and has a straight ejector to hit the larger case rim.

The other gun is a 9mm and it is bent in to hit the rim on the smaller case.

Dittos, RC nailed it. You're okay, you just noticed the one small difference between a 9mm ejector and a .40 S&W ejector--that tiny lil bend!

Mr. Camp has an excellent picture of the G17 ejector in his review.
