A few minutes ago, fellow forum member winstonsmith and I were chatting on instant messenger. Somehow, he typed in the 'ol Garand routine (BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM-PING) so we made up this idea, Greatest gun sounds of WWII. Please add as many WWII era guns you can.

BOOM! click-click, BOOM! click-click, BOOM! click-click, BOOM! click-click, BOOM! click.

You know someone's a true gun nut when they come up with something like this.:D

Bolt up, bolt back, bolt forward, bolt down.
I know, I was kind of making the "bolt up, bolt back" sounds into one smooth "click".:)

Sunray, I was thinking the same thing, but all my Sgt. Rocks are at home in the garage so I couldn't check for sure.

At the end of each issue, there was a story "The Men of Easy Co." or something like that. There was one that was told from the point of view of Rock's Thompson. Very Cool.

Sgt Rock is correct for most ww2 sounds...

Just wondered why when he rushed the tiger tanks and threw a grenade down the top hatch the turret ALWAYS blew off the base of the tank.

Guess Rock was using some potent C4...hahahaha

Machine gun: German MG 42 (have you heard it in the CD game "Call of Duty")?
