I'm very intrigued by the new Zeiss dot sight. See the Botach site for the best description that I've found thus far:

I've heard nothing of this and seen no reviews. Does anyone out there know much about them? To me, they seem like an excellent solution to some problems that I'm having.
TIA.

I'm also interested in the Z-Point. Cabela's still listed it as $399. I went to the Hensoldt-Zeiss website, couldn't find any specs. I like to know the size of the objective lens and some more. Can't find any reviews of this sight elsewhere either. The Guns Magazine (Feb 2003) has an article on Hk MP7, I believe that is the same sight used in the pictures.
It only claims to be parallax free at 100m. If you need something lighter and lower profile than an Aimpoint it might make a good choice. The Aimpoint is totally parallax free, cheaper and probably more rugged.
