What's up with this?

I read the features list and the only difference I could come up with is the detachable mag.

The Edge has a detachable magazine... no difference, they just changed the name. Probably somebody has "Edge" as a trademark.

Not sure Axis was the best choice, however.

I don't know about you, but I don't want a rifle named Axis. Can't wait for their Stainless Steel model, the Axis SS. Their PR needs new management.

the Axis SS. Their PR needs new management.

That's pretty good! hehehe

The name change was the result of 'trademark' infringement. The 'Edge' name was already in play by another manufacture of sporting type equipment.

Other than the name change, the Edge and the Axis are the same firearm.

The Axis SS... awesome. It'll go great with my Hitler Youth Knife in parades! lol

Yea, seriously, they need a new marketing team.
