Which is the better powder for 308? I'll be using 168 and 175 sierras. I've read that N540 is good for heavier bullets, but looks a bit slow on the burn rate chart.

i use N140 in my 7mm08, 243 and 30-06 (sometimes in the .30-06 for lighter bullets). I think it may depend on the length of your barrel to get the best speed. i like N140 because it is readily available and i find it gives me really accurate loads
