I've had a 738/TCP since the beginning of July.
I have about 300 rounds through it with two malfunctions - one FTE and one FTF. The FTE occurred early during my second session and may have been the result of the weapon being dirty; the FTF may have been operator error. I put nearly 150 rounds through it in each of the two times I've had it at the range. This was mostly FMJ, but I did mix in a few rounds of Remington Golden Saber JHP; there were no hiccups with the JHP, by the way.
I'm still getting used to those low sights and I wish the gun was true DAO like my wife's NAA Guardian.
On the other hand, I can shoot it all afternoon and my hands don't hurt like they do when I've fired 25 rounds through the Guardian.
I also like that it came with both two magazines and a useful carry pouch (to which I've added a label from a famous luggage-maker for added camouflage).
As I've said during a couple of other threads, I think Taurus has a winner here.

I just bought one earlier today. The trigger is leaps and bounds better than the Kel-Tec's or the Ruger's, and the thing has actual, honest-to-God sights.
Range report forthcoming.

I really like mine. The recoil is very soft for me. I was very surprised. Has been very reliable, is well made, comes with 2 mags and a neat little canvas carry pouch (looks kinda' like a digital camera bag).
Accuracy is excellent for a mousegun.

Are you sure you didn't buy a Diamondback? ;)
I've had my TCP since about April or May, had to send it back to Taurus for a jacked-up trigger (the hammer would fall prematurely before it had been cocked all the way back, causing "light-strikes" or failures-to-fire), but it's been otherwise good. To me, recoil is snappy but not unmanageable; plenty accurate for its size and intended purpose. I carry it as a deep-conceal pistol when even my Glock 26 or my S&W 3913 are too big. Thinking about using Glo-Nation paint or something similar to help out on the sights, though...

I've owned my TCP for 5 months now. I carry it on a daily basis & couldn't be happier with it. It shoots the self defense ammo with 100% reliability. If I had it to do over again I would purchase this gun in a second. The trigger is better than the LCP & the gun fits my hand better than the Kel-tec. Great little bug gun.
...I did paint the sights with floresent orange paint which helps a lot, but this gun isn't designed to be a range queen, it is a self defense gun designed to point and shoot.
