Range I go to has a clays area but it's bring your own everything.

Like to buy online, usually cheaper than buying here in the PRNJ.

If I have to, guess I'll check Walmart, Sports Authority etc.

Also bought one of those handheld target throwers to start - there will be two of us taking turns - one throws, one shoots. Want to make sure I like it before investing in a machine.

By the time yo paid the freight,breakage aside,it would be a horrible investemtnt.go to walmart and get em for about 4 bucks a box of ninety.
The next step up from handthrowers is a spring powered trap.puts em out there real nice.I have a foot powered one I really like,from Trius.

I second the recommendation of the Trius One-step. It even throws doubles a fair distance....so you and your buddy can shoot at the same time. I ordered mine from the Sportman's Guide when they had a free shipping promo. I think I paid $79.

Ranger...check the K-marts that still sell guns..usually have remington targets (box of 90) in the fall for $3.97 per I usually stock up then.there is a new Dicks on rt 9 in Manalapan,they should stock targets year round for about the same price from what I here.Second the vote on the trius trap,had mine close to 30 yrs now,have it mounted on an old pipe vise,real nice you don't have to bend down,always gets admiring looks at colliers mills

I know you're looking for online sources, but in some cases, local purchases might be the better route. I'm not talking about the pro-shop at the range, but WalMart and the ilk. Shipping would probably equal the price, if not exceed that of WalMart's. However, I purchase the 90rd builk packs. Just like anything else, I'm sure that not all clays are created equal, but WalMart seems to help me finish the job.
