Not really a practical conversion.

The barrel is fixed to the frame; the firing pin isn't is the same place on the RF and CF models.

The PPK is a very nice shooter

Why would you want to do that? You have a jewel of a gun as it sits.

I was curious... It is a little sweetheart... Fun to shoot!

It is probably a good bit more valuable in it's .22lr form, which as stated, is rare. To convert you'd need a new slide, new barel and new frame and that equals a totally different pistol. :scrutiny:

Enjoy your .22 PPK. I wish I had one to go with my PPK/S.

It's in amazing shape... Wonder what it's worth..? Not that I sell sentimental stuff...

Not only is the firing pin different between .380 and .22 PPK, the whole slide is dimensioned differently between centerfire and rimfire PP/PPKs.

Too many variables to accurately value your PPK directly, but a common version in very good to excellent condition is worth an easy $600-$750 at retail.

I just saw a pristine Interarms PPK/S, made in Germany, go for $800. A PPK would sell for more than that. Perhaps $1000- $1200??

The .22 PPK's are valued well above US made PPk's in centerfire calibers (probably DOUBLE), and several hundered more than German made .32's and .380's. The alloy framed PPK-L in .22 can be $1200-$1500 for a cherry condition gun. Even the stell framed .22 PPk's are probably $900-$1200. PPk .22 magazines are hard to find, and go for $100-$125 each.

Yes it can easily be converted to 380. Sell the 22 and buy a 380 and a bunch of ammo for same. Other option is just to buy a 380 as to make a set.
