A review I found not an hour ago, while wondering the same thing. :)
LOL, I'm busy googling away too :) Good spot!

I have one in my Spikes/BCM rifle I built. I had Spikes build the lower with the enhanced FCG. I am very happy with it..............:D

FMJMike - do you have anything to compare it to - would you say its a worthy upgrade from a stock trigger? My standard trigger is not too bad as far as AR triggers go....it breaks on the lighter side of the standard trigger spectrum (a hair under 6lbs), but I do notice the creep on the more challenging distance shots, and it is this I'm hoping to work out....not looking for a super light match grade type trigger - just something a bit smoother/less creepy.
I'm wondering if one of these will offer a noticeable improvement...or if I will ultimately have to drop some serious wedge on a JP/Timney/Giessele etc.

Kwanger - no experience with the Spike's but I've been doing a running review of the Armalite 2-stage and recently got to try two Geissele triggers. Geissele is in a whole new category of great, although they are rather light. The Armalite is not light but it has no grit and very little creep in the second stage. It also wouldn't cost much more than the Spike's - I think it's $80 or so for the trigger set (alone) direct from Armalite.

Looks like a trigger for my next build.

The Spikes trigger has very little take up and very little creep. I am guessing around 4 lbs trigger pull and smooth. Much better than the 8 lb trigger pull of my now sold Colt AR-15. I was not looking for a target trigger when I bought the Spikes. I was looking for a very good battle trigger that I could trust in a SHTF situation and yet not be like the horrible Colt trigger. It is a compromise between several options that fit my personal needs.

Thanks Mike....think you just about summed up my outlook there too - so I think I will give one a try.
Z-Mich, thanks for the suggestion on the Armalite; I had heard similar things about them - but am wanting to stay with single stage for this one.

Spikes put the anti-rotation trigger and hammer pins in my AR lower too. You can see them in this photo.

Well, mine arrived Saturday, was installed about ten minutes after the mail came through the slot, and was live-fired today.
The review posted by Kilo 1-1 is 100%. I didn't polish or buff mine--heck, I forgot to oil it--and it's great. Very little creep, a little rough (to be expected when dry, duh), but quite nice at 1/3 the price of a Geissele. Looks neat, too. :)
