Does anybody know what kind of pistol is Saddam carrying when he is captured? I wonder how much will that pistol worth in the collector's market.. Hopefully they won't destory it like other captured weapons.. It will be a nice addition to the APG museum in Maryland or Ft. Hood 4thID museum.

He didn't use it, merely surrendered it. Thus, it must have been a French model.

Gary, even a crazed pig, finds a truffle.

I don't know if I believe the story of Kindly Uncle Saddam cooperating with his captors.

Something smells VICHY!:p

I wonder if it was really a BHP or a FEG PJK-9HP.

I read a couple times over on FNHipower forum that the defense contractor that supplied the guns to Saddam switched the real FN Hi-Powers with FEGs. Not saying of course that he couldn't get a real BHP on his own...especially with all the gold pimp guns they had.

The Chimp-in-Chief has no intention of letting this pistol or,if he has his way, any other pistol into the hands of Iraqi Goyim!!!! :cuss:

My guess is that it has already been melted down!! :banghead:

"He didn't use it, merely surrendered it. Thus, it must have been a French model."

This is by far the funniest comment I have ever seen on any messageboard :D

Saddam did not use the Makarov pistol tucked into the his belt, or the two AK47 Kalashnikov semi-automatic rifles he had.

:D LOL

Hey its hard to distinguish a BHP from a Mak...dang...El T is still right...surrender flags that come standard with French models cover up the details...and easy but honest mistake...

I just saw the promo ad for Letterman tonight. JT

Letterman on Saddam:

"He gave up. Michael Jackson put up more of a fight."

Just heard they were about to clear his spider hole with a grenade when POP went the weasel..

I've seen pics of him with a BHP and a Mak both. Bet you somebody is gonna be awarded that piece?

"To the commander in chief, USA from Bravo Company, 4th Inf Div.. etc etc"

That would be cool, not exactly the broken sword of Cornwallis, but cool.

As asked in a different forum, how did he pimp it out? Did it have an engraving of himself in a Cossak uniform or some other stupid crap?

The AW ban must have been more successful than we thought. According to the NZ paper, Sadam was only able to get SEMI-auto AK47s. Watch-Six

Saddam will do his best to embarrass the U.S. by spilling the beans on how the U.S. "helped him out" in the past. A lot of that horrible stuff he did to the Iranians and the Kurds was done while he was supported by Uncle Sam. His gas- bombings of villages, for instance.

Saddam does what he does to inflict maximum damage. It ain't over yet.
His trial will be a media event, and he will say plenty. He is a butcher, for sure; but he had help.

The news said Saddam was pulled out of his hole with a pistol.
Does anyone know what kind of pistol he had at the time?

Won't it be funny if he tried to commit suicide but the gun failed to fire? :D

He's Saddam-freakin-Hussein and he can only get his hands on SEMI-auto AK's? :scrutiny:

Incorrect. It was a Belgian BHP. Remember, the Belgians travel up the a$$ of the French. Belgium, proud member of the Weasels.
