I looked and looked for the appropriate spot to put this thread, but didn't find anything that seemed to work. If it is in the wrong spot, I'm sure it will get moved. :)

I have a box of .45 ACP ammo that looks like this ---- See attachment

What I want to know is, is it a collectable item? If it is, do you have any idea what it is worth?

If you can find a collector, then it's collectible. QED

That's a box I'd like to have, the '44 repack date is a plus. But, I've not shopped for items like this in a long long time (most of a decade--poverty is cruel like that). So, my reflex, that $20-25 would be a good price could be wrong by half.

But, selling that box for $40-50 also depends on finding a buyer, too.

There are shows all around the country just for ammo collectors. My friend went to one this past summer and told me he saw stuff he never knew even existed.

It's probably worth something to one of those type of guys, but I have no idea. It's like any collectable, condition and rarity make it worth something to somebody.
