I like Kyle's Gunshop (http://www.kylesgunshop.com/). Kyle is one of the good guys who is quick to ship and follows up easily with email, etc. If you don't see something you want he will try to find it for you.

Check out the BVAC ammo at www.surplusammo.com They have have a store near my house and I buy all my guns and ammo from them. Best prices around.

Also try www.aimsurplus.com and www.jgsales.com

I looked at the ammo engine, and they seem to only return results for a few companies. Aimsurplus and Surplus ammo both have better prices for 9mm than ammoguide returned and competitive prices for .40.

Walmart is the cheapest I've found. I don't think you can beat their prices on Federal Champion. I see some cheap crappy ammo online for similar prices, but hardly ever cheaper, and no where near as good as the Federal Champion. 9mm is the same way. I've yet to find anything any cheaper online or anywhere else.

That may be true, when they have it in stock, which is not always the case in my local store. The thing about Ammoseek is they check a multitude of stores/sites and give you the best price from each.

I didn't mention this in my first post above, But my LGS regularly beats Wal-mart ammo prices and has a much better selection. They just started selling online so im not sure on shipping prices but their prices are hard to beat.
Visiting the store can be a pita tho since its so busy you have to take numbers and wait a pretty long time and odds are the saleman will will be a grumpy old guy.

Wallmart get the TUL, it was like under $9 a box for 9mm, and 13 for 380.

I've purchased ammo from ammoman.com -- prices include shipping. Inventory changes frequently, but if you hit it right you can find some really good deals on cases of 500, 1000, or 5000 rounds.

You guys are missing the my point. Ammoseek checks many sites at once, including Cheaperthandirt and gives the best prices for each. Just click on the link and you will see. By the way, I have no affiliation to the site other than being a satisfied user and saver.

I reload my own.

I reload berry's plated for $6.22 per box of 115gr 9mm. I haven't run the numbers on .223 yet.

Just a word of warning - double check the numbers before accepting them as true.

I went here:
http://ammoseek.com/?gun=rifle&cal=276&grains=0&mfg=&keywords=&sortby=cpr

and was surprised to find 7.62 for 9 cents per. Was equally surprised to see Golden Tiger being sold by 50 rds as boxes are 20 per. Clicked on the link and actual cost is $4.29 per 20 rds, or about 21 cents each.

Not sure how common this is, but this is my first time on the site and I find such an egregious error...Caveat emptor.
