I have a Ruger 357 mag Speed Six and want to get a speed loader for it, will the speed loader for the GP 100 .357 mag work?
J&G sales has the HKS speed loaders in thier flier this month.
Thanks for any info.:)

Consider this as another option alongside the HKS ones:

I should probably say that I do not have any actual experience with this; I am simply putting the idea 'out there' as an alternative :)

The GP uses the 586 & the Six Series uses the MK-3 speed loader.

The MK-3 is a tad smaller in dia. & has more "jiggle room" shorter body.

The 586 may get em started , but if pushed in to far may jam the cases in itself .

Go with the Safariland speed loaders. I have 6 of them and they're great!

While the Safariland speed loaders may be a bit faster than an HKS they're a bit harder to find. Midway has them listed as out of stock.

Sorry, Steve, Safariland lists a Comp II speedloader for the Speed/Service/Security Six like Blue says.
Ruger Security Six, Service Six, Speed Six J-R4C

Brownells shows them as out of stock, though.

SL Variant has one that will work, at a higher price. The L-241 at

They are adjustable to cover several different makes and models per size.
