Thats what you call a report...no pics...no info...not even a description of the Centaur?? (I know what a Centaur is but a description of yours I'm sure we would all like to read about.)

Here it is: Conditions; temp low 20s, wind 15/20mph, overcast with moderate snow. The group shown is twelve rounds fired one handed at 20 yds. Hope the picture comes through ok.

:) :)

It does shoot a bit high left, but I think that I can live with that.

I've been a fan of old technology for a long time. I have most recently been focusing on Buffalo guns (high walls & Sharps). I'd forgotten my roots. I started shooting BP with a brass frame Navy, wore it out and for the next 40+ years switched to rifles. Sure am glad I discovered BP hand guns, again.

I know that the gun has to be part of the team as well but for anyone to hold even an excellent gun so steady that they can do a group like that at 20 yards? All I can say is.....

WOW!

:D

But seriously, the gun must be in really nice tune but it's still the nut pressing the trigger that has to be steady enough to shoot like this. VERY nicely done.

Thanks BCRider, I must confess, I am a rifleman at heart, but have done my share of pistol shooting and competition. I'm really not that good, just very very determined.

Thanks SC, hopefully when the weather warms up a bit and my broke leg heals (I hate mules) I'll be able to shoot some really good groups. BTW this was the first time I had shot the Centaur.

We have been thinking about moving to central or south central Missouri. I've noticed several of you guys are from Mo. Any thoughts on best areas to live, shooting facilities, clubs, etc. Here in SD a 5 min ATV ride and I'm in Natl. Forrest and can shoot all I want. Can you shoot in Mark Twain Natl. Forrest? I've talked to rangers there and they don't seem to know or don't want to talk about it.

For me, shooting and hunting is a big deal, lack of same is a deal breaker. Any help, ideas, suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Roger S.

Sorry, intended this to be a new topic. My bad.
