I found a guy who has a Taurus 517 Titanium. Its the 7 shot 357 with 2" barrel.

Does anybody have any info on this gun? What they are worth? It looks to be in pretty good shape. I just cant find anything on a 517... I can find plenty on the 617..

After doing some research through research through four or five gun values books and catalogs there seems to be no info on a 517. Plenty to do with 617 TI or various models, but nothing else.

It's the 617 that they make that's a 7 shot 357 mag, they're cool as hell. If I'm not mistaken they don't make them anymore and if you find one it's not a new production.

So if he was wrong and it is a 617 and in very good condition....$200.00 is a pretty good price??

I would think more like $300, they usually sell for $400-$450 new.

Gun in hand....$200.00 and in great condition! I looked at the model number and it does look like it says 517. But if you shine a light on it you can see it says 617!

617Ti s are a used gun thing these days. Still that is a good price for agood gun.

That's the one, my bad. Really so I can still get one that's interesting cause I am wanting one for CC but I just got a SP101 2.25" so I'll just do my thing with that for a while and maybe pick up the Taurus for summer.
