saw a very nice Browning M 10-71 in 380. it is priced right for its condition, though no box or instructions.
i've noticed magazines are + $75---expensive.

anyone who has owned or shot one, please tell me how you feel about them.
looks pretty, but is it accurate and reliable?

gonna decide by noon tomorrow, so thank you all in advance

The basic design is John Brownings, which means it is reliable as they come.
I'm not the biggest fan of the 1910/71, based only on why it looks the way it does.
I own FN/Browning 1910/55's and 1922's which are all basically the same gun.
The 1971 was an attempt by FN & Browning to come up with a pistol that was importable under the Gun Control Act of 1968. That's why the 1910/71 has weird features for a supposed pocket pistol:
-adjustable rear sight, tall ramp front sight
-"target" style grips
-elongated magazine floorplate

The older 1910 and 1910/55 were to small under the GCA'68 points system. Adding the adjustable sights and target grips with the extra height when using that weird magazine gave it enough points to import.

This gentleman has original magazines for $40 each (he bought up all the old stock at Browning): http://www.commemorativearms.com/magazines.htm
