I need a scope mount for my Savage Edge in .308 that I Can mount a Barski 6X12X40 30MM and allow me to work the bolt. Help

a medium-high mount. I put a low mount on mine and the bolt has been rubbing the finish off the scope.

Mr. Zombie---remove the scope & rings. Insert a stainless shim about .002" under the base & reinstall everything. Should give you enough clearance for the bolt handle. You can get the shim stock from brownells.

You don't need a "high mount".
Most mounts (base or bases) only come in one height.

What you need is Medium or High rings to fit the mount you already have.

If you have low rings now, try medium rings.
If you have medium now, try high rings.
