Check out my 87T and JPoint. The JPoint features a 4MOA dot, self adjusting constant dot with battery life of about a year.

Well to be honest, I have been a Ruger MKII Govt slab side model forever. I have also shot the Browning Buck Mark and many others. I chose the 87T because the rail system, ease of cleaning and accuracy. It is VERY light and comfortable to shoot. The only other .22 that comes close in my opinion is S&W model 41 (which is a lot more money).

Is the 87 a DA/SA?

I've considered the 87T and may yet still buy one. As to the sight, I have 3 (one is actually the Optima version). I have put these sights on a .454 Casull, a 22 mag revolver and a 22 pistol. They are great.
