Anyone have the May 1989 issue of American Rifleman magazine? In that issue, Edward Matunas put up a list of the "go-to" powders for most calibers that get reloaded. Any chance you could scan it and stick it up here? Thanks

My google-fu turned up nothing posted as-is but i did find a few things that may help. i'm not seeing anything from May on powders but the is an article from April 1989 issue called "Accurizing" Cartridges, maybe that's it?

Index of the whole year can be found here.

You can send a SASE to NRA and request article be sent out to you for free. Info on that is here.

Seems nothing past 3 years ago is in .pdf form from them so unfortunately they wouldnt be able to email it to you.

Also I would call a local public library as they may be able to get a hard copy in for you too.
Hope this helps or a fellow member has copy lying around to help personally. Good luck!

I knew this would happen. About four years ago I threw away 25 years of NRA magazines. I just got tired of moving them around. They're part of Nashville land fill now. :D

hotajax, I've got most issues of American Rifleman and American Hunter back to the mid 70's:D. I'll look for the May 1989 tomorrow and let you know.

hotajax, I've got the issue in question:D. I can't post the scanned chart here. Copyright stuff, you know. I can email it to you if you still want it.
