I've taken out the floorplate and magazine from my vz-24, yet I can't seem to take out the mag well and trigger guard. I have read that some mausers have "screw locks". Do czech mausers have these?
The screws on the bottom of the reciever seem to be difficult to remove and they are starting to strip if I apply too much force. Does the screw lock have something to do with this? Thanks.

Hello All.

Check out this link:

It's for the Yugo's, not the CZ's, but it might help. The screw locks on my Yugo look like a screw head partially on top of another adacent screw head. You turn the lock until one of the recesses lines up with the screw holding the trigger assembly in, and then you remove the trigger assembly screw. Hope this helps.

Are the screw locks larger than the trigger assembly screws? There are four screws on the bottom of the reciever: two are large and the other two are a bit smaller.

Large screws are the action screws....small screws are the locks.
