Reasons why it's good to have Santa El Tejon come to your house. (Pictures)

I'd like to share what Santa (aka: El Tejon) Left under the Tree for me. It's a good thing to see El Tejon coming to your house on Christmas with packages that are clearly rifle long boxes, and one of them has your name on it. Oh Joy.
It's also a good thing when the little nephew elves passing out the smaller El Tejon gifts struggle carrying the gifts because the gifts are so heavy. All the 230gr .45ACP cartridges get pretty heavy for El T's nephew elves ya' know.
I have pictures with El T. looking Tacticalâ„¢ in front of the fireplace & xmas tree, but I forgot to adjust the picture size. So they're to big to attach.

Matt, you and your boys will need them against the bear, puma, mutant zombie bears, wild boars and space aliens.:D
BTW, how can one look tactical in an Eddie Bauer shirt and a pair of khakis?
Can you post LSFreeman's rifle?

Sorry Kirk, I can't post LSF's rifle. I took those pictures before I knew how to adjust the resolution. Oops.
The AK has a twin already in my safe. Always need duplicates. Always.

Hahaha! My b*tching worked!!:D
Thank you Sir. ......... only other thing is ..... next time compress BMP image by approx 10:1 ratio, to a JPG ... which'll reduce file size from around 220k ... to about 25k!!:p Still - well pleased. :)

My, my, how untactical and not a bear, puma, zombie, space alien or other imaginary critter in sight. So much for my Peter Pan/THResque fantasies.:(
At least the belt is Milt Sparks and black for enhanced tacticalcoolness!:D
Matt, does Dad know he's on the Errornet? Good grief, he'll be posting soon.:uhoh:

Wow, El Tejon. You look...well, so normal. Not the foaming-at-the-mouth gun nut that the media regularly describes. This just isn't possible. You must be a Brady Bunch troll. ;)

So.. Aliens did capture El T and took over his body huh?

The great Hoosier passtime. Perhaps we could use THAT do confound the invading hordes of aliens.

"if there's ammunition in your Christmas stocking"
then what are you if there's an AK???? Them's some real Indiana boys. Makes a fella proud:D
Hey...sometime this summer we need to do a Hoosier THR shoot. There's a metallic silhouette range near Ind 10 and Ind 39 that's open the 1st Sunday of every month during the summer. It's a hoot. Also quite cheap and you don't have to be a member of the club
Nice pix. I got a digital for Christmas. Just gotta figure out how to post pix. Anybody got a starter course for the digitally challenged???

Got a phone number and directions to that range?

Tamara, no euchre, but I did play pool with my 5 year old nephew. I lost $32.00.:( :D
I'm normal?:scrutiny: You guys haven't been talking to the exs have you?:D Normal off-duty yuppie scum gear is just the best "urban camo" available.

My whole holiday has been ruined! I had this image of El Tejon: 6'5", 325 lbs, wild black hair, full beard, flannel shirt and corduroys, surrounded by nubile young things with the heads of bears, mouldering zombies and aliens mounted on the walls behind.
He is so, gasp, normal!
:p

I am here betting that if I do a search on threads including the adjectives "young" and "nubile", I will find El Tejon's name attached to better than 98% of them. . .
Great pics. E.T. gives nice gifts. (. . . and does look strangely normal.)

So that's what El Tejon looks like! :p
It's always a hoot to see what people from here actually look like.
Funny thing about euchre. We used to live up in Michigan and were part of a euchre club that played every month. Everybody in the midwest knows how to play the game (it's a trump-based game that plays fast and is a lot of fun).
We moved down here to Texas eight years ago (Love it here!!) and nobody ever heard of the game. We've taught a few, though. ;)
Cheers,

for those that are interested...
Intersection of 8 & 39 is about 20 miles south of LaPorte. Go south 2 miles to CR 200. East about 1/4 mile. Open outdoor range in the middle of nowhere, but has a clubhouse and covered firing line. Sactioned NMHSA range, so it's mainly handgun though you can use straight wall rifle (.44 mag, .45-70, etc) No bottleneck.
Either $5 or $10 depending on class for 40 targets. Runs from 8am to 4 pm in continuous relays. 1st Sunday of every month during the Spring, Summer, and Fall. Very nice guys and laid back atmosphere.
If anybody's interested, we can set a particular Sunday, maybe have a barbecue and go shoot. HTH

The bears are all asleep now (with visions of sugarplums . . .), but I watched a couple of coyotes stalk a condition-white dude and his yap-dog from the top of one of the Sandia foothills. And I ran across some impressive relatively fresh (from that morning) cougar spoor last month . . . some stupid deer had stepped right in the middle of it.
The hiking's better here, but no one knows what euchre is. :( Or how to properly cook a pork tenderloin . . . .

I flunked out of the community college primarily due to playing eucure for 5-6 hours a day during a time frame that happened to be the same as my classes.

From the image, I was surprised to see that El Tejon obviously doesn't know how to properly hold that rifle. Dont'cha know that anything with a pistol grip is always to be held at hip level, ready for spray-firing? How many times does Ms. Feinstein have to tell you before you listen?
;)

You downize the image after taking .. with even something simple like ''Irfanview''!!
You got it! Irfanview is a great piece of freeware. You take your digital photo [and enormous inefficient file size], load it into Irfanview and re-save it in the same format or different if you like and guess what, the file size is reduced by several magnitudes! It plays any type movie file and converts any format to any other format.
This will solve the problem of friends/relatives that are still on a phone line and thus have a problem with downloading huge picture files.
Cheers!
:)
