Has Anybody tried the 140 grain 357 magnum leverevolution load in a 2.5 inch barrel? I'm curious about what chronograph results I could expect. Namely whether or not it would be better than the 125 grain critical defense load.

So NOBODY has fired leverevolution in a handgun?

This guy's tried it, and expansion doesn't seem great.

Test on youtube with a 686 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mRRrvL4b45g)

The LeveRevolution bullet was designed for rifles -- the idea being a sharp-pointed bullet that could be safely used in tubular magazines. It wasn't designed for handguns and shouldn't be expected to turn in spectacular performance in handguns.

VERY interesting...thanks! I guess it IS designed for a rifle after all. I got 50 rounds of this as a gift. Suppose I can just use it for training ammo and re-use the casings.
