Got a call yesterday from my favorite gun shop. I picked up a XDM on Monday from layaway, so i could get my free mags. They told me to fill out a entry for buying a gun before the 23 rd. This was for a free gun.

Low and behold got a phone call yesterday day and i won the free gun.

It was a 22 rifle, a Ruger 10/22 i think.

Wife took the phone call and soon as i done Asked what i ordered know. I told i won a contest and shrugged her shoulders and left. :rolleyes:

Going to pick it up on Monday. Great Christmas present for me.

LOL We can't win, even when we do. You REALLY need to lie to her and tell her you just had to buy it. Otherwise you're just gonna never be trusted again. This could be the last straw. I dunno...

Got to chuckle. My wife would probably react the same way. One thing you need to learn... you never, never, give a gun shop your home phone number.... always provide a cell phone number. :)
