Just put a new sight on my Euroarms 1861 Enfield "Musketoon" This is a 58 cal
5 groove barrel 1-48 twist. The sight came off a Martini Cadet rifle which
is a English rifle built from 1917-1950 I think. All I did was cut the "Ears" off
and used the old screw. It fit perfect. It is marked out to 900 yds. I really
like this sight.

It is indeed a nice fit. It looks like it belongs there.

How did you figure out it would fit? It looks like it was made for that Enfield.

Well, I thought I had read somewhere about 30 years ago that they make
a good sight for the Musketoon. The cadet Martini and the Musketoon are
both British miltary rifles.
