Well, my wife bought me a "tool box" for my truck for Christmas.... However, it just does not look right on my truck (Nissan Frontier) so I am planning on taking it back. ANYWAY.... I'll have a little over $250 to spend on SOMETHING!!!! Her ONLY request was that I NOT buy another gun! So.... I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to what to buy?!?!
I have a S&W 340pd, Glock 22, Browning 380 BDA, Mossberg 590, Ruger 10/22, Ruger M77 Mark II... so any suggestions for accessories would be appreciated. OR.... anything else for that matter. I already have a Surefire on backorder...
Thanks!
Jack

i say you buy a gun and tell her you gave the money to a charity to help starving orphans. Sure you'll be going to hell, but in the mean time, you'll have yourself a new gun! If she's the kind of woman who will tell you no more guns, she'd probably never notice a new addition, as long as it wasn't something rediculously obvious. :D

Get a scope.

Well, I already have scopes for both the Rugers and she WOULD notice a new gun. We just had a baby last month, so right now she is a little cold to the idea of another gun. I think she'll warm up to another one next year....

Buy your brother something nice. She didn't say you couldn't buy HIM a gun. :D

Some kind of alarm system. All of your pretty little projectile weapons don't mean squat if you don't know the threat is there. You could also use it to tell if your little one has escaped from his bed.
ammo
a nice pocket knife
Danner Arcadias
magazines
Tell her you're putting it toward a new gun that you won't buy until next fall. That's reasonable especially if you combine it with birthday money.
Don't blow money on things you don't need and don't REALLY want. The next 9 months will give you plenty of time to figure out what you do want... and agonize about it endlessly on the forums.

Hmmm, I think I'll NOT spend it on my brother... ;)
Actually today she said she did not care if I bought another gun. She said "You can't get a gun for $275".... I told her I could buy a cheapo, or even a KT 380-PAT. We'll see. I have an order "on hold" at Surefire. I'm going to call today and see whats up with that. Well, its 3:51am... time to feed and burp the Daughter.

For $250 plus transfer you can get a CZ-40B like I did and it's not just a great gun for the money, it's a great gun ;)
Security items, reloading equipment, ammo, flashlights, knives, etc . . . are all great suggestions too.

You have a Glock 22, so get a Glock 17. Looks like you don't have a 9mm yet. As long as you only have one out at a time, she won't know the difference. That is why I collect Glock's and AR's.

A new wife. If she really loved you she wouldn't be making unreasonable demands like that. :uhoh: ;)

Well, I spent a little more than $250.... I bought a handheld police scanner (Pro-95 with truck antenna and extras) and a surefire light (with extra batteries and lamp)!
I like the scanner, need help figuring all of it out though. I "had" ordered a 6-P from surefire but they said they are at least a month behind so I changed my order today to a G2Z-BK-NR.
Thanks for all the ideas!

Ever think about getting into reloading? For that much you could get a nice set-up with all the fixins and roll your own.
