Meet, Eat and Greet in Shreveport, LA!

I am attempting to organize a Meet, Eat and Greet of members of LA Open Carry Awareness League, BayouShooter.com, Armed Polite Society, OpenCarry.com, TFL, THR and GunRightsMedia.com for those in the North-West Louisiana area. Anyone from those groups and friends of same are welcome!

Has graciously invited us to use his establishment for our meetings and any day but Tuesday is fine with him so we have our meeting place!

Now we need a date and time. I propose Wednesday, January the 12th at 8:00pm for our initial meeting. I would like a head-count for our reservation so please RSVP.

Open Carry is allowed but if you carry at all is up to you and you alone. I do request one thing, NO ONE is to handle any firearms while in the establishment! If you MUST show some one your gun out of its holster, PLEASE do it in the privacy of your vehicles! We need to be good stewards and put forward a positive face representing gun owners and carriers.

New Orleans area meetings are held the first Wednesday of each month in LaPlace. You just missed out meeting last week. You are welcome to join us in Febuary. Go to our forum at www.laopencarry.org and look for the announcements.

7:45 PM I am there and ready. Rory was very nice and accomidating and I have the meeting room to myself.

8:00 PM Just me. I'm starting to sweat.

8:08 PM Still alone, I order my food. The Cold Slaw and Hush-Puppys are great, the beans are good, just a touch spicy, didn't try the pickled `maters. It is a VERY slow night in the place overall.

8:15 PM Food arrives piping hot fresh out of the grease and Perfectly cooked and seasoned! I'm still alone.

8:30 PM I give up, settle up my bill and arrange to try again on a Saturday Evening. Left a good tip and called it a night.
