And what leads you to believe the CMMG rifles are anything BUT new??? They ARE new rifles, just somehow "blemished" in a way that DOES NOT affect functionality.

I personally went a different route for a budget AR, and ordered a Doublestar Hbar for $689 delivered to my FFL from budsgunshop.com Unfortunately the gun arrived @ the FFL yesterday, but he isn't there to do the transfer til friday possibly!!!!! You have any idea how hard it is to have a red dot sight, a pile (ok, 6) of mags, and a gun thats YOURS less than a mile away....and you can't have it or even fondle it?!?!?! ARRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH

As posted the rifles in the cmmg bargain bin are new... they are just put together with a select number of parts... I got one of these a few years back and am totally satisfied with it... I never could find the blemish or what ever it was supposed to have....
