I had sent a PM to one of our members and noticed that the time sent was 5:something PM. I checked my settings to make sure I had them set for EST. I do but the clock shows it being after 5PM on the 24th. All my clocks show it to be 12:47PM when I am posting this. Can some one check to see if the board clock is correct?

The time I posted this, per the board, was 5:48/49 PM

I just noticed that too. Seems the board is running 5 hours ahead.

I noted this yesterday. The board is, for some reason, running everyone at Greenwich Mean Time, ignoring the offset for EST, and probably other time zones, as well.

Actual time 14:14 posting time will show 11:14. The first post had the time showing a time 4 hours ahead and now the time is 4 hours off the other way.

We had the same problem for a while at the 1911 Forum but JAson did something so the board accessed http://nist.time.gov/timezone.cgi?Eastern/d/-5/java so the board clock was self correcting at midnight.

Hint hitn hint

14:23 actual 11:23 board

Does anyone see incorrect timestamps now?

Keep in mind vb does not do DST so those in the southern hemisphere need to adjust their timezone offset during the summer.
