Dog poo on a hot day looks better than the Chainsaw. :p

That looks evil. But the folding butt plate may be punishing on the pectoral muscle.

Ah, I would not relish using that stock.
Think i'd save my shoulder and just stick to spending the five minutes swapping the knoxx stock in and out off my old cruiser.

Looks to me like that IS the knoxx stock. The old style Copstock or whatever.

Heh, I wonder when we'll start to see "Build-a-Shotgun Workshop" in the local malls.

Welcome to Build-A-Shotty Workshop® By Mossberg, Where Best Friends Are Made®. - the leading and only global company that offers an interactive make-your-own Shotgun retail-entertainment experience. Making a Shotgun is a unique and fun experience. You can choose from over 30 shotguns to make. Then, give it a unique personality with hundreds of barrels, stocks, sights, and accessories like heat shields, chainsaw grips, breaching attachments, slings, lasers and lights!

(I will claim a portion of any profits should a Mossberg rep be reading this)

It looks like Mossberg is trying to cash in on the popularity of 1993's biggest blockbuster: Jurassic Park.

Two worthless things to me: that stock and the heat shield.

I guess I'll come clean and admit that this is one of my builds.

I started with a stock $300 Pistol Grip 20" Mossberg 500 and added the following

Rear Picatinny Rail
LPA Sights
Knox SpecOps Stock which has the recoil reduction system

The accessories cost as much as the gun.

Cheeky monkey.

NoirFan, those weren't mossbergs in the movie, BTW.

Once you've burned your hand on a barrel you will come to love the barrel shroud. Also, they piss of liberals for some reason.

The fact that it has the sights on it is a good thing. Isn't too hard to swap out to a better stock. IMO all heat shields do is add weight to an already heavy firearm.

A SPAS 12 it is not.

Mossberg has been going down the "Shock and Awe" path for too long. I wish they would get their heads out of their arses.

Isn't too hard to swap out to a better stock.

I have two 930SPXs. The decision to put folders on my 500s was intentional so why would I swap them out?

But I have to know what you think a "better stock" is? I don’t know of any other folder that is built as good as the Knoxx

IMO all heat shields do is add weight to an already heavy firearm.

The heat shield weighs 5 ounces, if you think this is heavy perhaps you should hit the gym more often.

Funny - I shoot SxS guns with splinter forearms. A simple golf glove solves any heat issues. The heat shield is a nice tacky-cool look, but that is it
