Is your hammer too hard to pull back? Wanting a lighter pull, Revolver too
hard to do fanning? Well here's your answer. Go to VTI parts and order
part SI01016 after market light main spring for a Uberti SSA Cattleman.
You will have to shorten it by about 1/16 Just lay it beside your old
mainspring and see how much to cut off the end that comes in contact
with the hammer. It will drop right in your Pietta, should work on Uberti
but I don't know for sure. Works great on Pietta.

I did too and even put three different 58 Remmy springs in,, but you can't match the new thinner lighter spring. You just got to feel it. You will never
go back.
