Whilst searching the interwebs, I ran across something on David Tubb's (http://www.davidtubb.com/sss_all_products.html)
website. The product is Chrome Silicon springs for the M1A and other various rifles. My question for you guys is
A. whether anyone has used them?
B. Was there any noticeable positive or negative effect upon installation?
C. Was there any increase in accuracy

I use C.S. springs in all three of my M14 type rifles.
Biggest advantage is a perceived smoother feel to the cycling of the action and the abiliy of Chrome Silicone to resist heat degredation meaning the spring will last much longer than a conventional operating spring.

The is no increase or decrease in accuracy potentional of the weapon by incorporating a c.s. spring. HTH
