Where to purchase shotgun in Rockland Co. NY?

I have researched and decided I want to purchase the Remington 870 12ga shotgun as home protection. However I have no idea where to go to look/purchase. Anyone have suggestions?

How about a local gun shop/ FFL dealer that may have one or order one for you?

If all you want is an 870, the local Wal-Mart can provide it. Something more specific and you'd definately need to find the local dealer.
