Anyone out there waiting on a CMP Garand?
My order mailed: Dec 7th
Received: Dec 15th
Verification email: Dec 27th

When I hear more, I'll update this. If you're waiting or recently received, please post when you ordered, so we can get a feel. Seems like when I ordered my M1 Carbine, I had it in less than three weeks.

If you have the order number, you can check on the CMP Forum on their website and get a feel for where they are in processing orders. I checked on mine the other day, and it was about 2,000 orders back from what's currently shipping. The Webmaster there says they are processing about 200-250 orders per business day at Anniston. Note, that includes ammo and accessory orders, too, not just rifles, which are running a little behind the non-firearm orders.

Bad weather has hampered efforts down in Anniston.
Orest Michaels reported on another forum that operations had backed up pretty severely due to weather.
Average turn around time right now for orders placed around late November/early December are running perhaps 10-12 weeks.

Be patient, they will get to you!:)
