I would buy it without giving it a second thought.

That's a good price.
You can get a new 642 or 442 without the lock from Bud's shipped to your FFL for $361 though.

That's as cheap as I've seen a used one. Around here , every so often a shop might have them on sale for $379 but regular price is pushing $450.
Around this area, a 642 in great shape for $350 wouldn't last long.

I just bought one for $379 new. I know of one place in my area that does sell 642 for $350 new but I didn't find that place until I bought mine.
I would say if it is 99% new, I would buy it.

Actually, this doesn't "say it all". Is this an off-the-books,private sale without any paper trail, which many consider a plus? If it is a private sale, are you confident that the seller is legit? Don't want to waltz into a "hot" gun.
Also, is this $350 "out-the-door", with no sales tax or transfer fees ? Does it include the original case and manual ? These are often a plus should you ever want to sell or trade.
Does this pistol have the widely reviled "internal lock" ?
I got one of these ( with lock) a couple months ago from CDNN for $349 ( plus shipping and transfer, but I have the $50 rebate on the way), so figure about $340,total.
So, if the deal is legit, and $349 out the door, you ain't gettin' a bad deal, at all, but more info is always useful.
