870 Wingmaster Jam Question

It seems my 870 has jammed up pretty well. When you move the slide back it will jam and then not move forward at all. If you remove the trigger mechanism it will clear. Reassemble the trigger and it simply jams again.
My gunsmith has it now because I believe in professionals working on firearms. I want no maybe fixed or mistakes possibly getting someone hurt. This is my favorite skeet gun and I am anxious to get it back in proper working order.
I was just curious if anyone has had this problem.

Well it seems on some 870 you need to hold it by the fore end and thump it on the floor pretty hard (yes im serious) Its just Remington quality has seemed to go down the drain.

There's nothing wrong with Remington quality. He said Wingmaster, not Express. Let us know what the 'smith finds.

Did you drop it/ fall out the back of a bronco at freek creek.... Oh wait that was me, um.... I think other than that this is one of the first I'v heard of a wingmaster locking up. Strange I aree with virginian its not an express so ill wait for the smith.

The magazine spacer used to limit shotgun shells in the tube magazine jammed and caught in place which locked up the gun. Very good news. Cheap fix. My Gunsmith found it so quickly and freed it that he did not even charge me. I simply removed it since I only skeet shoot with this shotgun.
