Isn't that Skunky, the 3rd guy in the first row? The dude with the tactical tricorn?
December 30, 2003, 09:22 PM
No. THR members would still be at base camp arguing over caliber of the flintlocks--"I said .75 caliber! "No, .69 caliber."
However, are they advancing against the Bear Army? If so, then yes they are THR members.

Heck, they'd be MODERATORS...:D
(Oleg: you'd look great in a waistcoat & breeches like the leader has there...;) )
December 30, 2003, 11:32 PM
Geek, no, that's not Skunky - if you notice, the drum on his back isn't made of carbon fiber... :D
December 31, 2003, 12:11 AM
I dunno. Many of them were not particularly polite. Well-spoken of course (no public skools then), but they didn't shy away from letting the truth be known.
I smelt a rat.

See the idiot in the third row waving at the "camera"
that was me... sorry :neener:

talk about getting your clothes at the Salvation Army!:D Not a "black rifle" between them, is this pic before or after the renewal of the AWB?

This is the pic of what we had left to fight with because the majority of gun owners sat on their butts and did not fight for their right to keep and bear arms. It all went down like this:
When they came for the assault rifles, I did not protest because I did not have any.
When they came for the Hi-cap semi-auto pistols, I did not protest because I did not have any.
When they came for the evil bolt action sniper rifles, I did not protest because I did not have any.
When they came for the revolvers, I did not protest because I did not have any.
When they came for the shotguns, I did not protest because I did not have any.
AND FINALLY, when they came for my black powder rifle, I was standing all alone but with a few other black powder owners because they took everybody else away.
STAND UNITED MY BROTHERS.

Hey, look at the evil bayonets.
December 31, 2003, 01:11 PM
Sorry, none of these could possibly be THR members-- There isn't a keyboard in sight!
December 31, 2003, 03:04 PM
Hmm, it's been almost two hours. I must have struck a nerve.

"After viewing this picture I am truely appalled to see so many of the radical militia movement walking around in public with loaded military-style assault weapons. We need to pass a law."

Why is the hammer/battery/steel/frizzen open on the musket of the man on the far right? Is he marching into battle with an unloaded musket?
BTW, THR members wouldn't be arguing over caliber inasmuch we would be arguing over rifles v. muskets. Of course, there'll always be a cheater who slips in a minie ball. Loads as fast as a musket, shoots as far if not further than a rifle. ;)

Gary, that man is a subscriber to a Colonial-era gun rag which stated that Condition 3 is much "safer.":D
January 1, 2004, 01:45 AM
Gary my guess is that he has no ammunition
i mean, look at his clothes!
he is wearing an old car wash rag as a shirt!
the man has no hat, and no waistcoast (thereby leaving him nacked by 18th cent. standards)
but he IS taking the high road

They helped to make The High Road possible.

They are not THR members. They had more conviction than most of us today. And a true willingness to make their position clear, and overt.
Not a flame on us, but something to think about.:uhoh:
January 1, 2004, 12:08 PM
Yes, but rumor has it that the ratio of "us" vs. sheeple is the same today as it was in 1776. I've got a good quote about that, but I'm too busy right now listing stuff to sell on eBay to go look for it.
